The tour has two variants: the standard scenic tour departs Queenstown at 7:30am, while the glass-roof option departs at 6:30am.

The tour takes approximately 9 hours.

Pick-up is from the location specified in your booking confirmation, with Queenstown accommodation or a nearby location available for the tour.

Please be ready at your confirmed pick-up location 10 minutes before the scheduled departure time.

Meet your local guide at your Queenstown accommodation or nearby and travel towards Milford Sound in a premium Mercedes Sprinter. The small-group tour is limited to 15 people, with informative commentary and scenic stops along the way, including Eglinton Valley, Mirror Lakes, Pops View and Homer Tunnel. You&rsquo;ll also make a brief lakeside stop in Te Anau.

Continue through Fiordland National Park and Milford Road, with opportunities for photos and short walks while learning about the area from your guide.

At Milford Sound, board a nature cruise beneath the towering peaks. The cruise includes an onboard nature guide and views of waterfalls and wildlife that may include dolphins, penguins, fur seals and native birdlife. Enjoy an included packed picnic lunch, with chicken or vegetarian options.

After the cruise, take a 45-minute scenic helicopter flight back to Queenstown, with aerial views of Milford Sound, mountains, glaciers and braided rivers. The flight includes a remote alpine landing in the Southern Alps.
