We stopped here on the way to rotorua as this was a bucket list place to visit. The price was quite good and we were pleasantly surprised when a tour was included at the start. The glow worms were amazing and so were the caves I just wish the area of which you view the glow worms was bigger as you only have around 5 minutes to look at them due to it being such a small area. Glad I’ve done it but just be aware it’s not the entire caves filled with glow worms.

Great stop on tour round the north island !

We were running late for the tour so we phoned ahead and they so easily switched us to the next available tour, which was an hour later- saved us having to rush after been caught in traffic! 
The tour itself was amazing- Max our tour guide was incredibly knowledgeable, funny and had a beautiful singing voice which he showed us in the caves. The glow worms themselves were a real magical wonder of the world, a mini constellation above our heads- one of the most beautiful things we’ve seen.
