How much spending money do I need?
How much spending money do I need?
Every traveller is different and therefore spending money requirements will vary. Some travellers may drink more than others while other travellers like to purchase more souvenirs than most. Please consider your own spending habits when it comes to allowing for drinks, shopping and tipping. Please also remember the following specific recommendations when planning your trip.
You can have a plate of food for a street vendor for AU$3-$7, however there are always more expensive options. From a mid-range, sit-down restaurant, expect to pay AU$7-$30 - not including alcohol.
The tour operator will include a spending guide in your welcome pack to help you navigate the costs. You can withdraw from ATMs at various points throughout the tour, but we recommend withdrawing plenty of cash in Manila since you cannot rely on the ATMs in Palawan.

What style of accommodation am I staying in?
What style of accommodation am I staying in?
The tour operator has handpicked accommodations throughout the Philippines which fit with the vibe of the trip and your fellow travellers. They only put guests in places that they have personally stayed in and loved! This is why when you stay in hostels, these are no ordinary hostels — no 8-bed dorms with old creaky beds in sight!
You will find large comfy beds, spotless and stylish interiors, aircon, personal lights and sockets to charge your devices. These are boutique hostels with a maximum of 4 per room (single upgrades available), plus camping on a secluded beach!
